Question about 35 Deluxe

I came across a very nice restored 1965 35 Deluxe. This has a 12 speed trans, 3 cylinder Perkins 40hp diesel. I think it has 2500 hours.

Are these desirable tractors? I thought it was very pretty and spacious.

The guy wants about $4000....but I don't know anything about these tractors or their value.

Not sure about "spacious" but yes these are desireable tractors. $4000 this time of year is not out of the ballpark if tractor is in primo condition. This, along with the gas model, is perhaps the most versatile of the older tractors in that it is easy to get parts for, does most anything that any tractor of its day could do with 30 some HP, has all the features most small farmers or hobbyists need, is stable on hillsides, and is still priced reasonable. Usually you can buy them for around $3500 in most parts of the country, but again this time of year good tractors bring more money. You might make an offer and see what happens.
