I can't tell you of any easy way to pull out the pto, but you may want to park the front wheels downhill before you do get it out; that will keep the oil from pouring out.
Good luck,
Chuck

Brian, On the left side of the screen click on Search This Site and search for PTO Shaft. There is alot of info available on what you are experiencing. From what I have read it sounds like your PTO Shaft may be bent. I have an F-40 and I pulled the shaft to replace the seals. Found other small things on the shaft that needed replacement besides the seal but the Massey Dealer did the work for no charge. When I pulled the shaft, what I beleived to be the ground speed gear fell off the shaft. Removed both side inspection plates and got everything back together and it runs well. Never worked on a tractor before. I had the IT manual to help. Big Dean gave some advice, but the gear falling off the shaft is still something that can not be explained. Good luck. If I can be of any help, let me know.

by chance is there a snap ring or something else that is on the shaft holding it in? i took all the bolts out and it would'nt even budge like it is still bolted there. i have never even used the pto but the seals are very very bad and need to be replaced since the oil is just draining out of it. thanks

No snap rings holding it in. After the bolts are out it should just slip out unless it is bent.
