TO 35 tractor lift will not stay up and will not lift a heavy load. I thought that the pump is bad. I took the pump out and cannot find a thing wrong with it. The only thing suspect is the control valve and the orings inside it. The orings look like they were made in an oblong manner, not round like a regular oring. Can anyone tell me more? I would like to discuss this with someone who has already experienced the problem. This is a strange control valve. I can't figure out the theory of opertion of this valve. Can anyone tell me how it works?

Hi Ken,
Don't know the control valve on a TO35 but have you considered the rings on the piston in the lift cylinder? If they're shot I think you would get your symptoms.
