Pull type plow for TO_30

I just got a lead on a pull type plow for a really good price. I haven't looked at it yet and I don't know what size it is. I was wondering how well a TO-30 will pull it though. Any body have expierence with a pull type plow?? I read a post on the "N board" a couple days ago and it diddn't sound like the Fergies and the N's will do very well. A 3-pt plow will actually pull the back of the tractor down and increase the traction and the pull type will not. I copyed a couple examples of what they were saying. Any help will be appreciated.

"NOW, the design of the N series hitch, by Ferguson, was such that the suction of the plow (the force pulling the plow deeper into the ground) was transfered to the rear wheels. This gave the lighter N's the same ability to pull a plow as it's heavier contemporary tractors made by other companies. They all used plows that were pretty much simple pull type, not unlike that pulled by a horse or mule. So these plows could not transfer the suction load to the rear wheels of their tractors."

"I also grew up on both and H and 8n. I agree with your assessment. Plowing they were equal. Although the 8n would never be able to handle a pull type plow like the H or any other pull type implement. But it had a lot of other advantages."
