I know this has been ask before but I can't seem to find it. When my tractor is runing (TO20) the lift will drift down a bit then jump back up. Then when you shut her off the lift will drift all the way down. All this with only a 6 foot blade on it, the hyd. system is full of oil. What do I look for or at? Thanks.

I had the same problem with my TO-35. I was
advised that the valve(s) might be worn or dirty
in the hydraulic pump. I rebuilt the pump
(replaced the valves, springs, o-rings etc) and
that fixed the problem. Pulling and then working
on the pump wasn't as bad as I'd imagined it might
be. I couldn't have done it without both service
and parts manuals, though. Good luck.

Check the master control spring adjustment. It should hand rotate without end play while your blade is lifted. A search should have discovered many posts about this problem, we have discussed this at length during the past 2 years. Generalize your search with words like: hydraulics,lift,3pt hitch, etc. A shop manual is available from the parts suppliers listed at left.
