TE20 Distributor Swap Out

Can anyone tell me if TO20 or TO30 delco remy distributor will work in my 1948 TE20 Z120 engine and if so what delco serial#'s. This is driving me nuts the only thing wrong with my lucas is shaft top ball bearing, and have looked all over the internet for it. The problem is they no longer seem to make it's size, outside diameter 1.310 and inside diameter 0.500 and thickness 0.375, was made by an english company called Hoffman with a number 557 stamped on it, well it's only 53 years old. If any of you english folks have a source for this bearing I would love to keep original but if not then what **^*$@ delco will interchange please help.

SKS # RLS4J is open bearing with no seals or shields. Is 0.500 ID 1.3125 OD, width may be 1/16 short. A sealed brg. is available also.Might be # RLS42RSJ. Check with your local Motion Industries bearing store.
Delco Dist. wear out also and they have a bushing which is no longer available and is a odd size. Not hard to make tho. There may still be a Lucas parts depot in Chicago area that has all Lucas parts.

You guys would not believe how much you both have helped in the last 2 days, on the distributor and oil seals. I've been retired from auto mechanics for 4 years and starting to think my brain had retired also. Well you guys got me really digging found the Lucas distributor shaft bearing at Motion industries right here in my home town, will be shipped in tonight thanks Duner for that tip. Also you guys got me to thinking "Pete try the Massey Ferguson Dealer" and you know what they had the rear axle seals in stock, tranny input seal will be here Monday. Like I said thanks Guys for recharging my brain. Pete

I checked my parts book and the block assembly part number is the same for the TO-20 & TE-20 so the distributer should interchange. If you need one Email Me. Mark H.
