I am so sick of getting people who are interested in my tractor that I know are not legit. They are trying to pay me $2000 more than I am asking and I am no stupid country hick. If it seems too good it is. I no longer wish to have my tractor listed on this sight. Can anyone help me. Also, how long do these ads run?
Thanks,
Doc Rundle

This site best describes these scammers and it's also funny since the guy who runs it likes to "mess" with their minds.

Which area is your ad posted to? The YT classifieds and photo ads have a filter in place that helps to cut out the contacts from scammers.

The Todays Tractors ads do not have that control in place but we are working hard to get it in.

If you give us more details we can use it to help configure the software. It has to be constantly modified as scammers work around the clock to bypass the controls.

Also, we'll need to know which ad to remove.

Thanks

My ad was listed as 1947 Farmall H Newly Redone for Show or Farming. The name on the listing was Kenneth and the email is shrink1964@yahoo.com

Since listing this I have had over 10 offers from people outside of the United States who want to pay me with a cashiers check and want to make it for $2000 more and then have me use the extra and secure shipping for them through Western Union. The scam is that the cashiers check will appear to be authentic and will even fool American banks. From what I have researched, this has happened to others selling tractors and by the time the bank realizes the cashiers check is fraudulent, the items bought are gone.
Thank you for your help to remove my ad.

I removed your ad. I did find it in the Today's Tractors section which does not have our new SafeMail spam filter in place. I'll be working on getting that done. It has really helped in the antique tractora ad area.

Glad you recognized the scams for what they were, and thanks for then information.

I would like to remove my ad for the 1066 IH tractor and the Brent wagons. Will you please remove these two ads. I, too, have been getting unlegitimate emails for offers. Please remove my information as soon as possible. Thank you!

Which section of the site are the ads in? Antique Tractors, Garden Tractors, Today's Tractors?
