UPDATE: If you are receiving this e-mail, you have been identified as a victim of fraud committed by John Hopson and/or Mary Hopson between 2005 and 2008. On April 30th, 2008, John and Mary Hopson of Cookeville, TN were indicted by a federal grand jury in the Middle District of Tennessee. The Hopson�s were named in a fourteen count indictment charging mail fraud, wire fraud, access device fraud, and aggravated identity theft. If convicted of the aggravated identity theft charge, the Hopson�s face a MINIMUM of two years incarceration. The Hopson�s were arrested at their residences on May 2, 2008 and made a court appearance in Nashville on May 5, 2008. At that time, they were released on bond. A trial date is yet to be determined. If convicted, the Hopson�s may be ordered to pay restitution. For updates on this case, please refer to the letter you should have already received regarding victim rights.
