Boy... 1 mention of frontier justice gets a post killed right off!!! 1 mention about a certain V.O. becoming like the other scammers on this site and mentioning about how frontier justice was used in the old days..... .. pulls stuff right off.

Buyer/Seller feedback is exactly that. Too many of us have been screwed over the years on bad parts, bad tractors, and Stuff/Tractors that never arrive. Yes, Ive had the bad canuck dealings too. (HINT)

I guess a man's reputation will never be known when people don't let things out due to the fact that the world is scared of lawyers.

5 bucks that this post gets pulled too.

JML755 said: (quoted from post at 08:35:19 03/14/08)..... That being said, many posters have documented their transactions with Vern Otto in a straightforward manner without injecting emotion and language that could be perceived as threatening or violent. Kim was right to pull the non-conforming posts.

Yes we have freedom of speech, but there laws against slander and libel (oral, written). As Kim has mentioned, people will go after deep pockets using lawyers and this site has to be vigilant and careful.

That being said, many posters have documented their transactions with Vern Otto in a straightforward manner without injecting emotion and language that could be perceived as threatening or violent. Kim was right to pull the non-conforming posts.

This forum is for posting feedback about your personal transaction with a seller or buyer. Either the seller or the buyer can post, and reply to each other's comments as well.

This forum is not for people who aren't involved in the transaction to give their opinion.

If you have been involved in your own transaction with Vern Otto, you should post a separate thread about it.

At no time are personal attacks permitted, nor suggestions of "frontier justice", or anything of that nature. Only the facts of the transaction are permitted, good or bad, and this information is very welcome and very useful to others.

I have fought off several lawyers and received threats from several more, yet this forum remains, because I WANT for people to have some way of letting people know about their transaction. But yes, there is a fine line that we have to honor in this society so that we don't get ourselves shut down. So we have to stick to truthful statements containing only the facts of the referenced transaction, as Dave suggested, so that we can keep the threads in the public view. That in itself will help people tremendously.

Thanks for listening.
Kim

You should keep to posting facts of your own experience and/or repost what you find on the person as well as its location where you found it. Looking through the archives will reveal alot about this person you are referring to. As you can see from the past weeks post, this person seems to care less about his past deals. Even though Ebay would have pulled his selling ability, I'm not sure how this site works. All I can tell you is post truthful statements and just maybe, you will save someone from buying something they will never see. Lotsa unhappy people, that should speak for itself.
