Off of the ads on this site I purchased a quote "NOS" magneto for Case C tractors...It was described as being new with hot spark, "ready to bolt on".Well Folks, I got the magneto two days ago in the mail and it is missing the whole impulse assembly, looks beat up, and definately not NOS...one of the air vent caps is upside down showing its been monkied with. Missing the impulse assembly, how could it be ready to bolt on the tractor? Also when I checked, it does not have spark and the internal gears show wear - once again definately NOT new old stock. I emailed the seller and this is what he said: Kent, Those mags when new came minus the impulse drive. Bosch didn't have one drive fits all. You would install the drive that meets your engines requiremants example 30 degress, 35 degrees. That is a new magneto. It never had a drive installed yet. I had an outer collar here which i gave you with the mag. You certainly must of read my ad, it clearly stated impulse drive NOT included. You will not get an impulse drive from me. You must of known that! The ad was only a few sentences. I'm not sure what you are up to here, but i'm not playing along. You recieved what was advertised...a never used Bosch , impulse not included. And, it certainly isn't severely beat up. If there is something full owed, its not a refund from me(don't expect one), its an apology from you. John Draus I have tried to resolve the issue with the seller, but he is uncooperative. So be warned; I wouldn't suggest dealing with him. His name is John Draus and is from Wisconsin. Thanks Kent
