It has been much colder and dryer than normal here in Tenn for the last several weeks. A warm day was the low 30s. A few days ago, it warmed up to the 40s and then the 50s and started raining. Out in the barn today working on tractors. They are WET with condensation on all that cold iron. They are sweating like a cold tall one on the 4th of July.

Yes, heavy masses of iron will stay cold awhile. We actually have a little bit of "down south" permafrost here in VA. While out pulling some firewood around, tractor tires would slip on the slimey surface than hit a frozen layer an inch down.

Yup, same story here, noticed all the condensation when i went out to "the crew" a while ago. any oil leaks sure show up quick, nice bright white areas where the oil is.
