This is my wife's grandpop on what looks like part of a Cub, at least the wheels and steering wheel. Any idea what this machine is? The picture dates from 1973. Sadly, Pop, the machine and his lowboy are gone. Any help would be appreciated by the family.

Could be an Eshelman. They were a mail order tractor advertised in the back pages of Popular Mechanics during the fifties and sixties.

Steve, I suggest posting this on the garden tractor forum. The answer should come quickly. I think I know what the tractor is, but those folks would be the experts. It is not a Cub and it has a one cylinder engine.

I did as you suggested, but what do you think it is? Take a guess, I won't hold you to it.
