I just finished restoring my 300 IH Utility that I use. I have 3 questions:
1.) I'm looking for a seat and back replacement. Any help? 2.) Any chance to convert this to power steering? It has a loader and is tough to steer. 3.) Finally, what is an economical post-hole digger that will fit? Worksaver 500 yoke won't fit lift arms. Spacing is 26".

Hello Charlie, Since you restored I would think you would want original Hydro-Touch system. I would think it would be easy to get the steering column valves and the hoses from a junker. Rebuild it and install. Or install a truck PS unit.

Hey T-Bone, My local scrapper wants near 1000 bucks for a used hydro-touch system, not including the pump. What exactly do you mean by "installing a truck ps unit"? Paul Vance

I made my own seat cushion and back. Covered them with naugahyde from a boat upholstery shop. Easy to make, or you could take the tattered remains of your existing cushions to an upholstery shop and have them made.

You can get seat cushions and backs from most salvage yards or farm supply stores. Factory power steering will be fairly expensive and isn't a very good unit. I've seen guys put later model hydrastatic steering on sucessfully and look pretty good.
