#1 IH Regular
#2 F-30
#3 15-30

All above are my favorites, because in my mind a real antique tractor is 1939 - back. Least favorite - Farmall M and H. Just like a A and B JD, there's millions of them and they are not interesting to me.

Just had to get my two cents worth in. I like my H but my favorite farmall isn't even red. It's gray. It is a 1931 Farmall Regular.

You sure picked the winners! We have both the SuperMTA and 1086 as working tractors and they are both just excellent.
Our SuperMTA has power steering, 2 hydraulic hookups, aftermarket wide front end and 12v electrical system. It is such a swell tractor in every way. I am always amused at the JD guys blabbing about the 70 and 720. Heck, I never see them used for working. They just wipe them with diapers and haul them around to shows and brag about wiping them with a diaper. Sheesh.

Since I cut my teeth on my Grandpa's H, I would say that is my favorite for drivability and overall ease of maintenance. The M comes in a close second. However I wouldn't kick a 1206 out of my barn! third party image

My Favorite Farmall Tractor out of the 2 I own,and out of al the models would have to be a Farmall H. I don't own a Farmall H, But I do own a Farmall C and a Farmall M, I also own a Case SC,but as far as that goes-its in peices.....still waiting for the parts. If anyone ever comes across a Farmall H that runs for sale in MN thats under 1300$ give me a hollar!! Im lookin at them right now. Unfortunatley I don't have enough money to buy any of them-I can't take any out of my bank account. And I don't start work for a couple weeks. I am only 14, but I am literally a tractor myself!!!

It is strange how things from an early age impress us. I lived in Chicago till I was eight years old. I would often go to the Museum of Science and Industry. The McCormicks were a continuing sponsor for that exceptional institution. As you walked in the front door, there would always 6 or 7 new red tractors in the main lobby and I would always "test" drive them. This was in the early to mid fifties. I now have 17 tractors from that period. My least favorite would be a Cub (too fragile). It is a tie between MTA's and Farmall 400's for most favorite ( modern tractor with classic lines).

I like the 300 utility the best. My dad had one.
In my opinion the quick hitch was superior to the 3 point any day. It was very unfortunate that it did not become the industry standard.

The Fast-Hitch is pretty slick, isn't it? I agree - too bad it didn't become the standard.

I'd have to say my M. It's the biggest, which is a drawback sometimes, but it's got the power I need and a three point to make the work easier.

Without a doubt, my M I bought when I was 14.. Narrow front end, High compression pistons, lotsa torque! Think the neighbors loved my straight pipe..

Second.. a 5288 I used to run. Had all the bells and whistles, extra hydro lines, screamin turbo, radio, air, 5" chrome stack. Felt like I was on top of the world!

Third, 1466 w/ chrome straight pipe again. Had pulling tractor gears in the rear, some turbo tweaks, Had the biggest Taurus radials I've ever seen on the back - No cab.

Been here before, but be glad to run again. 1. WD9; Tons of guts forever and a day 2. 660D; Only IH to come to Aus. with mechanical TA. Picked one up just recently. 3. WD 40; Legendary. Thankfully got one of those.

First, black stripe 1066 open station. Unreal power and speed. Second, 806 diesel with an M&W turbo. Toss the throttle over and prepair for liftoff.

1- Farmall H
2- A lot of people would really like this tractor if they had one: Farmall B: it is the neatest tractor that i have ever drove and for its weight and size can pull about the most.

My favorite would be the 400 Diesel wide front. I spent countless hours on one as a teen. Also perhaps a 660 Diesel, first tractor I drove. Probably never have a chance to own either, as I have 5 1/2 acres in the woods, no room to use either of them.

Big Fred; Good news..really good news: Ya don't have to own open land to own a 400D with a loader and a rear mounted large circle saw to take care of those 5 1/2 acres of woods. That loader and saw is just the thing ya need to make use of one while owning all those trees.. Go for it. You'll never regret it. harvey

This comes up about once a year and gets good response. My favorite Farmall tractor is one of the High Clear versions of the M; MV, MDV, SMV, SMDV, etc. My favorite wheel type tractor is the rice version of the McCormick 9 series; WR-9, WDR-9, WR-9S, and SWDR-9.
