Where can I find info to help me troubleshoot my generator on my 1941 farmall A?

Right here! You can select "generator" in the archives, and see all that has been discussed in the past few years on this topic, or post your question here. I JUST finished (two days ago) working on my generator: I thought I was going to have to buy a new one, but with the info I gathered here (took a few weeks to get all the answers) I have been able to fix mine up and now am the proud owner of a 41 A with a working 6-volt generator. I'm no expert, but will be glad to share what's fresh in my head.

Also read Bob M's response to "Packrats" further down on this page. His diagram is what got me started in the right direction.
