'50 H Drain Plugs Stuck!

I'm working on a 1950 H and have had trouble getting the oil drain plugs on the pan and the oil filter mount "unstuck". I assume water settled there over the years and they are pretty tight. I have the pan and the oil filter off. I've tried every penetrating solvent I can find with no luck. I'm doing this work in my garage in suburbia, so I'm short on resources like a torch. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use a spray can penetrating oil called PC Blaster and it works really well. I have yet to have a problem with frozen nuts, bolts. You need to apply some every day for a couple of days before busting your knuckles.

JR, Have you tried Kroil penetrant? Let the stuff work for a couple of days. Every so often rap on the plugs with a brass hammer (not steel). This should help the penetrant do what it is designed to do "soften up the rust". Good luck & patience.//FB

If I were you I would drop the oil pan and let the penetrant soak in from the top side down. because you may want too clean the sludge out of the botton of the pan any ways
