I am trying to find the cyl. head bolt pattern and head bolt torque specs. for a FARMALL model- A. I need to replace the head gasket and need to know the torque specs. Thanks for any help-- DAN

Start in the center and work out in pattern. The final torque id 65lbs.

That should read "work out in a spiral pattern".
65 ft/lbs sounds correct. Be sure to work up to that in three steps, starting at about 45 ft/lbs, then 55, then 65. Retorque after running the engine for a couple of hours at operating temp and cooling down. Then again after about another 10 hours of running time. This will keep your head gasket from being blown by a bolt/nut that works itself loose. Also, lubricate the bottoms of the bolt heads and the nuts so they won't interfere with getting the proper torque.
