Hi,

i've got my 330 apart, trying to fix a leak, and it looks like the transmission drive shaft spacer (360495R1) has a groove worn into it under the seal. (Page 122 on the Case IH parts site). Unfortuantely, it's retired, and no longer available...

does anyone know of a source where i might be able to get one?

thanks,

mdaitc.

thanks for the idea on the sleeving. i've already tried my local parts dealer, and searched on the website for the part number, but i don't seem to be able to find the ability to search for parts without selecting a model

Look at the 300 and 350, possibly the 340.

Although I am not familiar with that particular tractor or part, you probably have 3 choices: 1. A speedi sleeve or redi sleeve (both trade names) 2. see if you can move the new seal to a different position (probably not likely), or 3. have the groove filled by a machine shop that is familiar with the procedure to do it right. Don't simply have it brazed. Or--try to find parts in a salvage yard. In that case compare part numbers on the Case-IH web site-caseih.com to give a wider range of tractors to look for.
