I'd take the Super H tractor, they are a little harder to come by. There were 64,668 Super M's built and only 28,784 Super H's built. If you are just going to show it, go with the Super H, if you will be doing a lot of jobs that require lots of horsepower, get the Super M. If I were the one being offered the tractor, I'd go with the Super H. Let us know which one you get and post some pictures of it!!

Good luck!

Andy.

I'd say the Stage II SH. I saw one in work clothes, no rebuild, running OK good rubber, sell at farm auction and NOT to a relative for 3800. City guy buyer, a restoration buy, last summer. I had to drive to Wis to get mine, running OK, no paint, poor tires, no brakes. Near 3000$ It was made the last week of production. I used it all last summer for putting up hay, planting with a drill, and spraying . And two or three times I just fired it up to go visit the neighbors about 3 miles a way. It goes down the road real well! It's a very handy tractor and easy on fuel.

If it is a true 1954 super M, take it for sure. There wasnt many made in 1954, as most were super mta's, my 2 cents

GO BIG OR GO HOME. I would get the SM so if you ever want to use it for work. Bigger is better.

Take the SH. They are getting more popular every day. You won't regret your choice. Marv

CNKS is on tagret. If the rubber is better on one choose it. If play is the choice choose SH, more nimble and easier to store, less fuel, same general impact on the street. JimN

The SH is smaller, somewhat easier to steer and manuever, etc. In my opinion the stage 2 SH he has will appreciate in value more than the stage 2 SM because it was the last in a series, while the SM was updated to the SMTA. Either is fine.
