Can a temp. gauge be installed on an A's engine.
I don't have any problem with the engine running well but would like to know where I'm at.
Could be just a gauge right at the engine.
Any ideas?

Yes you can install a guage you can get the guage and bracket from your I-H dealer then you will need to take the lower wousing off this would be the one on the block it goes to the radiator. There is a flat spot on the top. Drill and tap it for the sender which would be 3/8 pipe fitting. You should get the guage first so you have the rite fitting on the sender end to get the threads matched.

Hey Gene correct me if I am wrong, the sending unit goes in the upper radiator hose housing on a 113 and 123CI engine. the flat spot is on the right hand side of the housing. If I can get picture up loaded will post picture later.
