I want to replace all the seals before I paint. So I have the tranny input, pto, belt pulley, front bearing covers (2), rear cover, and I assume 2 axle seals although I am not sure how to do those. How about where the brakes are? Are their seals there too? Any help would be appreciated.

The brake drum seals are easy to replace. Just remember their are two seals per drum. The axle seals are harder to replace. I dropped the bull gear for access. You might want to leave those alone. Those seals only keep the bull gear oil and the diff. gear oil separate.

Just finished up my seals a few weeks back.

yes, there are felt seals behind the brake drums. Same thing on the axles. If they are not leaking bad I'd leave well enough alone.

I have oil dripping out the end of one axle and that's why I thought I needed to change them. This tractor hasn't ran in years and the seal may have dried. Maybe just running it will help it get lubed up and seal better. Do the bull gears and tranny use different lube?

The the final drives take a pint or two each. If you fill the diferential full enough to run out the pinions you will have oil all over.
