I have come across a 1947 Cub doesn"t run no battery, flat tires, no fuse, carb. has been taken off, has a drawbar, planter, disc, arms, and swinging drawbar.

And what is your problem? I bought my '48 Cub, that had sat outside for four years, but it wasn't stuck. A little tinkering and it fired right up. Can't keep a Farmall down.

If you don't know if it is stuck, assume it is.

I might go $650 depending on engine being free, amount of rust, and how much time and space I had to devote to it. Offer low and explain how you'll restore it to like new.

If the serial number is 3000 or below, it is one of about 2,500 known as 'circle cubs' which might be worth more to some people.

If motor is loose and it is complete, I think a fair price would be around $500-$600. If the motor is stuck, probably around $450.00.

Andy.

Is the motor stuck? Scrap if it is. Add $100 if it isn't.

"Is the motor stuck? Scrap it if it is".

Why scrap it Mike?? You can free up a stuck engine. If a tractor has several bad problems and is not worth restoring, why not use it for parts? The parts will bring more than the tractor would in scrap.

Andy.

THE PLANTER ITSELF WOULD BRING MORE THEN 200.00 IF COMPLETE. I THINK 500 MIGHT NOT BE A BAD PRICE. OF COURSE YOU CAN START LOW AND COME UP.

For what you describe, with the added implements. It would be worth about $500.
