HEY ALL,,,A COUPLE OF YOU GUYS SUGGESTED BLOWING AIR TO GET HYD. OIL TO THE PUMP JUST A COUPLE OF ?'S DO I BLOW IN THE FILL HOLE WHERE THE DIP STICK IS.. HOW HARD SHOULD I BLOW? SHOULD I HAVE TRACTOR RUNNING WHEN I DO THIS, SHOULD I TAKE PLUG OUT OF PUMP SO AIR CAN ESCAPE OR LEAVE IT IN? THANKS GUYS

I had the same problem and all I did was remove the cap off the breather and just give about 5 or 10 pounds. It dosen"t take much just enough to move the oil to the pump. I didn"t remove any plugs. I didn"t have the tractor running but if it is running I would keep it at idle. Worked for me.

WHERE IS THE CAP ON THE BREATHER?? I ASSUME THATS NOT WHERE THE DIP STICK IS. IS IT ON TOP OF THE RESIVOR?

Hoss357 You will have to take the right hand hood side off. The breather is the tube sticking up on the hyd block with the round cap on it. Unless the tractor has been cleaned lately will be alot of dirt,leaves in there. The tube is about 4 to 5 inches long.
