Seems really high to me but if someone wants it RIGHT NOW and has plenty of cash, look out.

Example: Just now an 'A' sold on e-bay for $5500 (included a plow). It was advertized as a Super A, had super A decals, but had a 5 digit serial # (ie just a regular A).

at this auction they had ih suitcase weights and they went for 60 to 80 a piece and that tractor did look nice from a distance but the paint on the oil pan was flaking off and it had some small runs in it i was thinking to bid up to 2500 but that was the starting bid usualy m's around southern wi and northern il go for 900 to 2500

Those are 15 year old prices in Oklahoma.

It's hard to find a $900 H and $1,500 M these days.

If you can still buy them for that, now is the time to stock up.

My last really good buy was my SMTA-D for $300. I obught it sight unseen, thinking it was an M or maybe an MD and I lowered my offer a little assuming it was an MD with a bad engine. I paid for it and didn't pick it up for several months but was quite surprised when I saw it had live PTO and a T/A. I robbed the mag off of it before I found out they were worth more than a straight M.

I payed 1,250 for mine with a single tire front end. The guy also gave me a wide front axle and some extra parts. It still 6 volt, has older tires and a generator. All it needs is paint. 4,700 is a little steep for that tractor. I have seen brand new looking M's go for less than that.
