guy just stopped in the shop, needed mirrors for his truck. he asked me if i was interested in a farmall 240 cheap. early 60's he thinks, 2 point hitch, has a bush hog and grader blade. needs brakes and some odds and ends. how much i ask, he says 200 bucks. gonna hook up the trailer tomorrow and bring er home. thats the one that looks like a baby 560 isnt it? i 'm thinking it was the replacement for the farmall c. good or bad tractor??

Some guys sure find the deals better not put getting it home before he finds out what they are worth. You didnt say row crop or utility.Only 3700 or so built and lots were utility.

"I think i found a deal"

That's putting it mildly! ;8^)

Got it in the shed yet?

I'd be hooking up the trailer right now. That wouldn't even buy the bush hog around here - even if it were in bad shape.

Good deal. I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat. Only thing I wouldn't do is wait until tomorrow. I'd be getting it as I'm speaking!

Yep, looks like a baby 560. It's easily worth the money even if it doesn't run. If you decide you don't want it, please contact me.
