I rebuild them as the S,SC,A,B,and BN are all the same. Its a close fit but it will come out just by removing the bolts. Now if the input shaft is worn and sloppy it needs a new bushing installed by using a 1/2x5/8 bronze bushing. The housing needs to be machined to 5/8 first. When done with new thrust bearings and spring it will work like new again with throttle response again.

I just did that myself, i was able to remove it without taking out the radiator, but I did have to remove the shroud bolts and slide it out of the way and the govenor came right off. Hope this helps.

I hadn't had the chance to take a close look at the shroud , this will definately be easier . Thank you.
