Went to a show this morning in rural Perry Co. PA. Roughly 200 tractors mostly Farmalls, JDs and the Other Green Tractor....Oliver. Lots of Fords, MMs, ACs and Cases too.

Several dozen Farmalls, McCormick-Deerings and assorted IH tractors, including this very nice F 30. Sounded as good as it looked too. Straight pipe, no muffler.

Meant to take some pics of the several gray bodies and plumb forgot too. Was also a very nice WK-40(?) that sounded pretty sweet.

I live about 20 minutes from the place where the show was, Lupfer's Grove near Shermansdale. The Lupfer clan has several of their Olivers at the show, think they probably own 40 or 50 tractors.

That area hasn't changed much, if'n you don't count the stores, car lots, taverns and too many city folks who have moved up there in the past 20 years. Still much like it was years ago, though.

Don't know how much longer it'll last, but Perry County still has no red lights and the natives are mighty proud of that 'un.
