ok, so i got lucky talkin to a (well seasoned) gentleman last night. he delivered me a nice junk pile fresh 39 h seat assembly. it aint nice, but i think i can fix it. it has the base square iron, the toolbox, and the upright, but the top of the upright has been broken off and rewelded with part of an old combine and seat to reattach. so now i wonder, are early and late seats themselves diffrent? and how do i go about finding or making the wire style support leg? suggestions?
