I was wondering about the main differences between these two cylinder heads? Thanks alot for all your help.

The 8060 is a high compression head.

8060 is the standard gas head for a super M. Can't say it's high compression though. I'm running one with the 5000' alt. pistons and my compression is 115 give or take a point or two. Charles

The way it was explained to me was there pretty much the same head just one is a newer version. I would assume that the 8574 head would be less prone to cracking since it's the later version.
