Looking at a Farmall, (serial #351687 R5) can"t figure the year from the table on this site.
Maybe I wrote it down wrong, the number are very legible, don"t know how I could have got them wrong.

That's not a serial number as Dave mentioned. The serial numbers started as listed below. Hal

1951--100001
1952--131157
1953--159130
1954--187788
PS: I remember these years very well since I graduated from high school in 1951, got drafted and married in 1953 and our daughter was born in 1954.

351687 R5 is a part number.

The serial number tag should be on the side of the toolbox under the seat. If it is a Super C, it will be #100,000 and up.

Ohhh, The number was stamped on the main body in front of the seat.... I'll look for a tag

I looked in my book and cannot make out that number either. Did it come from the tag or the engine? A lot of these old tractors have parts switched back and forth between units of the same model and between other models. Could be a hybrid or you have the wrong number? Someone here will know, I am sure.
