does any one know which gear the the slider gear goes on when i put the new reverse fork on? when i tore it apart the reverse fork was broke right below the shaft and the slider was on the left gear with what was left of the fork riding on top of the slider. i know one is supposed to be the reverse idle gear, and i guess when you put it in reverse the fork moves the slider over so it rides on both gears to make it pull in reverse. but looking at the way it was it looks to me that the slider needs to be on the right side gear for the fork to move it over to the left side gear.i also think someone before me moved the thing that the reverse linkage hooks to the book shows it pointed toward hi/low linkage hookup mine points toward the front of tractor.i guess if you move the linkage hookup it would also change the way the slider gear was moved [ left to right movement]. am i looking at it and understanding how it shifts to reverse. i don't want to guess wrong and bust a bunch of gears. thank
