If your referancing the Stanadyne pump, starting will be easier because the Stanadyne pump is a modern pump with higher starting fuel pressure. As for power it will be the same as the bosch as you can set the fuel or power level on a dyno just like the bosch pump. Fuel useage may be a bit higher but really a nonissue. It all comes down to do you want to keep the tractor all original or do you want to get it running good for the lowest cost? You might be able to have your pump rebuilt to for much less than $2000 if it dosent need many high $ parts. Give a few pump shops in your area a call and see what they say. As for the Worthington reman pumps I have never bought one from them but I would think they are high quaility and they would stand behind them. The Stanadyne pump in the kit is new so no question there and I have installed one on a 756D and I'am happy with how it turned out.
