Lift was not working right.

Changed the filter and the 3 pt. lift went up and down like it should evenat a slow idle for 2 or 3 days

Now its not working at all

The pto and the power steering are fine.

Do you think the pump is weak/going out or is there something plugged or is a valve sticking?

Thanks for your help

Hi, under the seat it have a valve (unload valve) with a big plug in front. Remove the plug and pull the spool, make sure to replace in the same way. It have a small orifice, blow with air. Replace the spool then the plug. Start the engine and check the lift system. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada

Are you sure your tractor has the right hydraulic oil in it? If so, I would change the filter again. It could be that the wrong hydraulic oil has been or is in there. Tranny oil without the additives for wet brakes will cause the brake disc to desintegrate and the fragments will stop up the filter. I have seen this several times.

Hi Darwin, could be dirt stuck in a valve in the MCV valve. If the tractor has remote hydraulic outlets, operated the lever that controls the remote outlets until you hear the hydraulic relief valve squeal. Sometimes that will blow the dirt out of the stuck valve.

Good luck
