I AHEV A 1950 NDEL FARMALL CUB AND WAS WANTING TO GET ALL THE BUILD UP OUT OF THE HEAD, WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO GET IT CLEAN, BOILING?

I have no experience with cubs but have had several H and 350 heads cleaned by auto-machine shops. After a good cleaning the head should at least be checked out by the machinist to insure it is not cracked as well as determining if any valve work is needed. I would hate to put it back on the engine and then find further work is needed.
