I am wondering if there is a potato digger that will work with a fast hitch on a Farmall A. I grow my potatoes on 4 ft. beds with 2 rows 30" on center and would like to dig both rows in one pass. I am willing to change my spacing if there is a digger that won't work on that spacing. If there is such an implement, how might I access it?

I have an IH No. 17 Potato Digger that is very similar to the one El Toro pictured. These are one row only. The IH PTO drive two row model is the No. 12 produced 1936-55. It's basically two one row units side by side on one axle.

I see Binderbooks has a manual on the No12, but they recommend that you use the F-20, F-30, H or M tractors with the two row digger. Not sure an A would handle it. Hal
