This is what happens when the teeth on the hydraulic pump gear go south. Keith-OR, You're right. I should have had the whole show rebuilt by now but time is in short supply. I'm still plugging away at it though. I have the stock for the attachment to press the pulley back on when the time comes. I live two hours west of Seattle and migraine lives about two hours north. Kyle Super C, it's good to hear from you. I'll keep posting as I get deeper into the restoration. S/C Bob, my email is open. Drop me a line, I might be interested in what you have.

Chris, LMAO...

We haven't gotten Shawn's painted as of yet, little chilly down here in the flat lands. But I do have all the sheet metel straighten out and all dents removed. Also put most everything in the electrolysis tank.

We lucked out on motor, I pulled valve cover and pan, looks like someone had rebuilt the motor just before they quit using it. But I did replace clutch assembly, put in new rear seal while I had it spit to replace the clutch rod and parts that migraine sent Shawn. Also replaced front seal.

And still looking for a wide front end for it.
All takes time!!!

Keith & Shawn

Here is my current SC project. Bringing one back from the grave that has sat locked up for twenty years or more. Stripped it completely down and took the guts out of the transmission and rear end to clean everything up and had to replace first gear as it had some chipped teeth from someone trying to unlock the engine sometime in the past.

Block and head are still at the machine shop.

Here is a link to the entire story so far on another site.

Take a look at the link I posted and you will see the entire tractor (or all of it we got, anyhow) and the progress so far.

J D Humm, wow, what a project. I'm putting the original engine back in my SC, but that is pretty much the only mechanical part of my restoration. When the timing gears went on the original engine, someone just pulled that engine and stuck in one from another model of tractor, possibly a Super A.

Chris, 2 hrs WEST of Seattle? You on the islands or on a houseboat? I kinda figured it would be liquid that far west.

Yep, farmallhall is right. There is no straight way to get to my place from Seattle. And if you miss the ferry, you'll spend another hour in the parking lot waiting for the next one. I live between Sequim and Port Angeles, sandwiched between beach and mountains.

Roger, going west from Seattle usually takes a ferry boat ride for starters of close to an hour. Also there are no direct east-west roads from Seattle. The Pacific Ocean is less then 100 hundred miles west of Seattle but to get there you must do a lot of north and south driving. The Olympic Mountains are straight west of Seattle. If you've never been there it is certainly a beautiful place out there on the Oypmpic Peninsula.
