Try this again.

1963 Farmall 460. Gasoline engine, tires fair, belly mower "shredder", tractor is in fair condition. For me I would paint it because I like to make things look new.

Worth?

Bob

Nat is blunt sometimes, but he is correct about the price. Tractor dealers might try to sell one like that for $4500+. A max of $2500 is probably closer to right. The tractor may or may not need a lot of work. But, it is actually worth whatever the agreement is between the buyer and seller. The mower may add some value -- it may not too. Sorry that is all anyone can tell you without actually seeing the tractor.

If you weren't happy with the answers you got last time, asking the same exact question again is not the way to go about things. Sorry for the bluntness but that is the way it works.

What's it worth? A running 460 that looks "fair" could be worth anywhere from $1500 to $5000 depending on your definition of fair. Some people think shiney red paint is fair, others think that rust brown is fair.

One thing is for certain, the tractor is always worth less than what the owner is asking for it.

Thought I provided more information than last time. I suggest if it is not enough for you to answer, then don't.

Some depends on the location, and how much you need in a tractor. I would say between $1600-2400. Assuming it runs for two hours w/o smoke, the TA and IPTO work under load, and the charging system is not rats nested to reproduce. I would offer on the low side, and start from there.
