Does anyone know what the ordering of rocker arms are?? In the parts book, they are listed as front and back (49/50). Does this mean the 49s makup the front set of 4 and the 50s the back? ie. which are intake and exhaust?? Also, how far is the rod expected to travel in order to tell if the cam is too worn?? Thanks

Thanks for the replies, just that I cannot seem to adjust them ie. there is not enough lever screw length to get .015. Just want to make sure whomever overhauled this thing got it back together right. Thanks.

Hi James Looking in my service manual for the farmall f-20 pritty much the same engine as the farmall regular they say that the valve lift sould be as follows the (intake.266) and the (exaust.298) and the tappet gap of .015h (hot)they don't give a range but i think these engines are pritty forgiving with tolorences,as for the valve rocker arm i will look at my regular and check the order and get back to you.
