Will the live pump from a 400 fit a farmall H?

the bolt pattern is a bit different on the pump mounting between an m and a 400. i could sell you the front cover from a 400 to put on your m so the 400 pump would bolt up.

the late model M and the SM are the same as the 400 I don't know what the cut off year is, but I have a 52M it is interchangeable, or you could use a M&W pump they will fit both, holes are slotted

Sometime in 1950, IH changed the front cover and timing gears on the Ms, so a factory live pump will work. Ms older than 1950 need to have the newer front cover and timing gear set installed.
