cub gas tank ?? baffles inside

hello all I brought home a lowboy cub afew weeks back, it had all kinds of crud in the tank, sooo I disconnected the sediment bowl and flushedthe tank with water, overe and over,, fianlly got almost all the crud out,,the tank appeared to be empty, put gas in it and has water in it, I drove it around a bit and then it dies with water in teh sediment bowl, gave up after about 5 times emptying bowl,, question I guess is there baffle in teh back side of the tank that you cant see/? if yes can I raise the back with my loader and attempt to drain remaining water out?? thansk pat

I'd drain it again, this time dry it completly with a hair dryer, shop-vac, whatever. You have to get that water out or it will plague you for a long time. If your up in cold country, pretty soon those water drops will be ice.

At this point, continuing to dump the collected water for the sediment bowl is about the best procedure. If you use an additive, be sure it is 100% isopropyl alcohol. Methanol is not good.

If you didn't dry the tank out, there were thousands of droplets of water hanging on the walls of the tank. The gas washed it all free and it pooled together on the bottom of the tank because water is heavier than gas.

Try some "Dry Gas" additive.
