As Paul Harvey reports, they used to say in Chicago..."vote early and vote often". Well, if we stand on the sidelines and do nothing, us "good folks" will be doing the bidding of those that are hopefully, still the minority. In Iraq, folks dared risk their lives to vote, so, get out there and vote.

We have only ouselves to blame for alot of this crap. Although it took a long time for it to sink in, a friend told me years ago that if you don't like life time politicians -- do not vote for anyone already holding that office. Over in tool talk I posted Sunday after recieving 17 phone calls. A friend and his wife claimed 37 calls this weekend. I just now got another one, this one was a actual person calling. I got to tell him to shove it up his canadates A$$. Everyone coments how easy going I am, but I am totaly frosted. I live in a very small town, and have never seen so many people at the poling place ever. I can't help but think our TV stations need a little more class. This morning they anounced where each canadate was going to vote and the time of day they were going to vote. That is very news worthy of course. So far they have not interupted the TV with a predictor who is a -----EXPERT----- political predictor. Maybe tommorow and the next 4 years they can analizzzzz and analizzzzz.
I do not want to break foul on anyone's opinion, but I was overseas in early 70s as we reduced our troops, the Arvins had priority on parts and supplies. That left us kind of in a bind. No I do not know the answers, but I sure hope they can make it home safe, with only bad memories to deal with latler. NE IA Dave

"My opponent is a f*rnicating gay pagan. He accepts campaign money from p*rverts and p*rnographers, and sells cigarettes on grammer school playgrounds. He burns American flags to light up his marijuana crack pipes. He will raise taxes and force terrorists and illegal immigrants to r*pe your women and eat your children.

I'm Joe Politician, and I approve this message."

Our terror alert level is still yellow
The A x i s of evil has not ben influenced
The respect the US has in the world has been in decline
Our young men are up against an internally inconsistant religeous war/rebellion/insurection that was held in check by a dictator we deposed
and our manufacturing base has declined to step into the century, rather it ships our jobs to others
exporting pollution we could suppress
and there is no plan
Vote the rascals out.

Yep BTDT today. I did write in for one person, but I know the person I wrote in would be better then he is. I wrote in Hitler. Ya I know hitler was bad but this guy is 100 times worse, it was also for a local guy and it was him or a write in so I know it didn't matter any how

If I remember right John Kennedy got us into Vietnam and Lyndon Johnson along with Westmoreland kept us there. It took a guy by the name of Richard Nixon (Tricky Dick) to get us out.

Want to discuss the Korean conflict?

What with all of the mud-slinging that has been taking place, I am convinced that none of the candidates are qualified to hold a public office. None the less, I will be casting my vote for the lesser of the evils.
