where is there an adjustment to get rid of some of the play on the pedals the brakes need to be pushed down all the way to have any brakes

Loosen the jam nut on the threaded end and turn the clevis. (with the pin removed) :-)
If its old & rusty looking, it's best to remove the whole thing and free it up on the workbench. I have two adjusters off of a H that have the clevis broken off the threaded shaft. They are just stuck on with a kind of spot weld. The adjusters are rare in the boneyards around here, so it must be a fairly common problem. ken

the only adjustment is located on the arm that comes out of the brake cover its a spring looking out fit with the threaded rod going to a nut made onto the springy thing boy how did you like that techincal description
