The bracket on my 47 H where the ignition switch is has four holes, all the same size. One hole is for the ignition switch and one is for the choke linkage. What are the other two holes for? The tractor had a shutter(s)? originally. Could one be for shutter linkage? I think some had a fuse mounted in that area. I have not seen a fuse holder on the tractor. I does still have the lights and light switch.
Thanks

Gary, I forgot to add...the earlier H had the fuse in the electric box on the back of the light switch. Later models had a fuse holder mounted on the front cover of the box. ken

Top left, choke rod;, bottom left, belt pulley rod; top right, radiator shutter control; bottom right, ignition switch.

Gary, One is definitly for the radiator shutters. Also, the belt pulley engagement lever comes through there, but I thought that was a separate hole and not one of the four holes. Roger

If all 4 holes are the same size, someone has done some modifications. The choke rod hole is about 3/16"+ -, the belt pulley rod hole is about 3/8" + -, and the shutter & ignition sw. holes are bigger ( 5/8 - 3/4"). ken
