I've got one that I pull with that I've done
it to. But you have to watch what head the pistons say to use. I have the SH/300 head and cam in mine it does snort! had the opportunity to
plow with it also, did real good. 2 and 3 bottom,
don't know what size of shares running 6 to7 inches deep in 3rd with each.

I don't think they will fit unless you bore the block. Hal

Sleeves for a C-164 engine used in SH will not fit a regular H block unless bored. Standard H bore 3 3/8, with thinwall sleeves 3 7/16. Standard SH bore 3 1/2, with thinwall sleeves 3 9/16 bore. You can run them without sleeve for more cubes if block is in good shape.

Some say yes and some say no, The ones that say no say you have to have the block bored but then again the ones that say yes say that the SH sleeves are the same size as long as you find the thin walls and are just punched out more than the H over bore, My self I would find someopne that has the sleeve and measure and measure your bore to make sure. The only way you will find M&W is NOS Randy Hall may be able to help you. I can sell you good aftermarket at a low cost that will compare to the Fire crators or M&W But are not exactly the same if you are interested in a price shoot me an email. If ya want to realy make her snort then why not go and punch her out and go 350 stuff like head cam carb dist . Heck i have a S/H and always felt that she was a bit wimmpy she can't handel 3x16's in second has a had enough time with just a two bottom in second. One can never have enough power.
