Hi!
I am rebuilding Farmall A # LAA 65067.
The original colour seems to be bright yellow!
It spent its younger years cutting grass on a government airfield in Lac La Biche. I wonder if this colour was an option. I am just at the stage to put on the final coat of paint and I have thoughts about making it that god-awful yellow if it did indeed start out that way!
Anybody know about original options?

I think your prefix is IAA, if so your tractor came with an International decal on the hood as it was the industrial version. If you don't like the yellow, you are under no obligation to paint it that way. IH also painted them red.

Some of the Indutrial A's were yellow and some may have been painted olive drab green. Does your tractor has a foot throttle. I have a picture of a Fairway 12 painted yellow with Martin Senour's acrylic cross fire urethane.
If you want to see it email me.

One of the men that post on here has a Farmall painted red with a yellow hood. Looks very nice.
I restored a Farmall A and I painted the rims yellow. This was 30 years ago before all this restoring began. Hal

I thought that tractor was an eye catcher with the yellow hood. Good job. Hal
PS: I didn't know if it was yours or Howard's.

Apologies. A couple of weeks ago I asked the Cowman how that thing was doing and what the name turned out to be. I guess I thought it sounded like something he might do.

Cowman has a bright yellow, and I do mean bright (I have seen it) 330 -- that is probably what you remember.
