Hey guys, new to the crowd but an all time fan of Farmalls! :)

I just picked up this nice little Farmall 100 for $500. (you'll have to paste these in your address bar)>Link

Now I'm looking for parts and such to complete it. I restore antique and classic cars for a hobby amongst other things and was really delighted in the condition this one was in considering it looks kinda rough. Really it's a fairly tight little unit and ran well for the longest until the previous owner let it sit in the weeds.

I'm having hardened seats put in the head at the moment and I'll be installing fresh valves, guides, and springs as well and it should purr like a kitten.

I bought this tractor for utility so I'm not die hard set on doing a full restoration as of yet. I've got the crankase and transmission finally cleaned out after letting them sit for a month full of diesel and everything is nice and clean now, ready for new fluids.

I'm in need of some parts though and I'm having trouble finding them. I'd prefer used but if I can find some repro's that would be cool.

There is a bearing cap on the inner side of the rear wheel that I need. Here is a pic of the right one Link
I>Link need the left one.

I also need the crossbar that spans from the rearward top of each fender. This is the bar that the drawbar hooks onto and looks sort of like a big clutch pedal equalizer bar.

I also need the 3 point hitch and some accessories which I can't seem to find around here? I'd primarily like to find a belly mower for it and all of the parts like the rear pulley and cage, etc that would complete the belly mower unit. Cutting my property is the primary reason I bought this tractor.

If possible I'd also like to find a front end loader and backhoe if there is even such an animal for a Farmall 100.

That'd be all for now guys! :) Please help if ya can! I live in Lafayette Louisiana and my camp/property is up on Toledo Bend Lake near Many Louisiana.

Pat

Pat: Some of the parts you are looking for are on ebay right now. You'll find more of them by typing in "Farmall super A" than by typing in "Farmall 100".
Also, you can call this fellow: Dean Hinton, 859-289-3266, or cell: 859-588-0699. He is junking out a couple of super A's / 140's right now, and has loose parts on hand. Dean's ebay ID is Harvester45. He's always shot straight with me.
Incidentally, a 3-point hitch is an aftermarket item for a 100 - not offered by the tractor manufacturer. However, Dean my have one. mike

Thanks so much Mike!

So is it safe to say that most Super A parts and accessories will work on the 100?

Pat: As long as your 100 has the standard U shaped drawbar the attachments will be the same as for the Super A. If the 100 has, or if you want 1 point fast hitch, there are many attachments and implements unique to that hitch.

The 1 point fast hitch will not be the best for rear mount pto driven equipment. I'd go 3 point hitch in that case. If you have the rear rockshaft for your tractor you can built a 3 point for about $200. in new parts. I just finished one. If you'd like some photos send me an e mail.

I wouldn't get too excited about loader and back hoe for this little tractor, just not heavy enough where it counts most.
