Just brought life to a 46 H that belonged to my father at one time. I found it in a yard not too far from me, outside, rusted but not seized. It took me 3/4 of a year to get around to making it run, but it happened today. Sure was a nice sound to hear it fire up ( no muffler). I had to pretend I got a spark in the face from the exhaust so my friend couldn't see a tear in my eye. I intend to paint it, etc. but for now I'll be happy to enjoy it as is.

Howard, I had a very similar reply in my head after reading the post title before I even clicked and read the other posts- ya beat me to it! Got about 4 drops out of a cloud tonight but I guess the folks rolled up too many pickup windows to justify a good downpour like we need.....

Custom harvester just got back up here to NE S.Dak., after 6 weeks down South. His family has been in the business for almost 60 years, and this has been the worst they have encountered. Lots of fields were just zeroed out, others lucky to make 10 bushel.

'Taint nothin' wrong with that "tear in the eye" thing. Just means you are VERY human. :>)

Good for you and the old tractor!

There is no nicer sound than a once dead tractor coming back to life.
