How heavy is the top for the 350U hyd resivour?

Going to take the top off the hydrolic resivour to try and clean the screen. Fast hitch is lifting very slowly, sometimes not at all. Fluid level is to the "full" mark.

How heavy is the top? I'm a fairly big guy, can I move it by hand, or do I need a hoist? I have never had it off before.

Thanks, Joe

Chain hoist-flat screw drivers-pinch bars- crow bars- antigravs- phassers- thugs- mugs-pugs and anything else you can think of. Lots of cuss words too. WATCH THE FINGERS! Drain all of the oil and clean the bottom of the casting too. Use fresh HI-Tran. Be careful cause it can be a real Bi----ch of a job. Take your time and you should do it. jeffcat

Heavy enough that you would appreciate a hoist or at least some help, especially when you put it back on. It is much easier to keep the gasket in line and not crush the screen or your fingers if you have a hoist. Even if you do do it by main strength and ignorance, something bolted on to it for a hand hold will make it a lot easier.

I've had a few of them off & can only make a guess at 80 lbs.
