i have a super a that started and ran great,untill i replaced some wiring on the ignition sw. and the ampmeter. now,it will not start at all.i have traced the wiring as best that i can,no help.i got something in the wrong place or,left a wire off.the system has been converted to 12 v.with an alternator.please advise me if you can help with the correct wiring . thanks for any help in this matter. charles

Wiring-run your serial # and then ask BOB M for his web page! you can wire it correctly very easily!!!!! !!!!!

You should have 12 volts at the ammeter, then a wire to the ignition switch, 12 volts there also, then a wire to the coil[ or possibly a resistor ahead of the coil - dropping 12 to 6 volts] also 12 volts there. If you don't have voltage at any of these points, check why the voltage isn't getting through.

Not real familiar with Super A, but offhand I'd say you are missing battery voltage toyour coil. Do you have a volt meter? If so, check the voltage to the coil. It should be 12V. Dave.
