There is an International 300 utility tractor about two miles from my house for sale. It has a loader (fully hydraulic) and a backhoe with extend-a-hoe. The steering is shot(manual) but it does run after tinkering with it. I have a 330 utility that i run right now with manual steering. Is this tractor worth anything? Is the loader and backhoe worth anything? Would the loader and backhoe mount right up to my 330U?

I don't have all the specifics of your situation, but if both tractors are in equal condition and you can get the 300 to run reliably and you want a loader/backhoe, just put the 330 steering box on the 300. Easier then moving a backhoe and a loader, which would probably fit on the 330. The 300 also has a bigger engine (169 CID compared to 135 CID) and a slightly (and I mean slightly) larger running gear to handle the stress of the extra weight. You'll also end up with a spare set of tires and rims that interchange and some extra front end parts that could possibly interchange(depends if both are adjustable or non-adjustable type). And lastly, you could always repair or replace the broken steering box and have 2 tractors to drive around! Who wouldn't want to have 2 IH's to drive around??
